The MacBook Pro is usually overkill for most working on google sheets, documents. Compared to the Air, the Macbook Pro could be expected to last 7 years or so with minimal issues… it’s simply stronger than the MacBook Air as far as specs. I tested both over the years and I’d use the Macbook Pro 16 inch (Amazon) over the Air. However, I do a lot of photo editing/animation… If I didn’t I would use the Air since a Pro wouldn’t be necessary.
